About Alma
We build Alma so your first minutes go to God, not the feed.
Alma is a Christian app for iPhone. It gently locks the apps that pull you in and opens a short prayer, today's verse or a question for Bible chat first.
Why Alma exists
Most of us reach for our phone before we reach for anything else. The feed is built to keep us there, and willpower alone rarely wins.
Blocking apps helps, but it leaves an empty screen. We wanted the pause to lead somewhere: to prayer, to Scripture and to a few quiet minutes with God.
So we built Alma. You choose the apps that distract you. When you open one out of habit, Alma asks you to pray first. Then your apps open, and you move on with your day.
What we believe about faith and technology
A dove, not a wall
Alma pauses you with a moment of calm. You stay in control of which apps are locked and when.
Rooted in Scripture
Prayers, the daily verse and Bible chat point you back to the Word, not away from it.
For every believer
Alma is built for Christians of every tradition: Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant, Evangelical, Pentecostal and non-denominational.
Private by design
App locking runs on Apple's Screen Time technology, and your app selection never leaves your device. No ads, and we never sell your data.
The company behind Alma
Alma is made by Committed Tech Ventures, Inc.
Our team works from cities around the world, from Portugal to Romania and from the Netherlands to the Canary Islands.
